One of them is the great musical instruments constructor, Vladimir Proskurnjak, who specialized in construction of the highest quality string instruments – the violin, the viola, the guitar and the tambouritza.
A visitor to the Herzer Palace will be in for a big surprise by meeting the magical world of insects so closely. This is a rare entomological collection founded by the hard-working Varaždin Grammar School professor Franjo pl. Košćec. This unusual collection comprises several thousands different insects which professor Košćec stuffed using the miniature taxidermy tools he had invented himself.
