• Historical walk following the traces of our ancestors: visit to the ancient Roman sites of Savaria, the lapidary Járdányi Paulovics István, Sala Terrena, relics under the glass flooring of the bank in the Main Square

Day 2

• Sightseeing of the architectural heritage of the episcopal seat of the diocese of Szombathely and the baroque building in Church Square (Templom tér), followed by a visit to the Saint Martin Memorial Centre

• Afternoon walk in the Vas County Skansen open-air museum and around the Boating Lake
• Dinner in a restaurant serving Hungarian specialties

Day 3

• Walk in the arboretum of the Forestry Research Institute in Kámon, hiring of bikes from Herény House
• Lunch in a restaurant nearby, light meals only are recommended as on the program in the afternoon is a pleasant cycling tour to a renowned sight in the region**.
• Dinner in a restaurant serving Hungarian specialties
• Evening programme*, hotel

Ják: visit to the Romanesque church of European fame.

Vasasszonyfa - Avar kori múzeum: on exhibit in the museum are clothing, everyday tools, and weapons as well as a presentation of the burial customs of the Avars.

Velem: visit to Saint Vid Chapel.

Cák: visit to traditional old-style wine cellars, with wine tasting.

Felsőcsatár: visit to the Iron Curtain Memorial.

Bükfürdő: visit to one of the oldest thermal spas in Hungary. We recommend this tour for the physically fit.
